Winter Maintenance

Winter introduces road salt, brines, snow residue, and frozen grime. These corrosive elements attack exposed metal and clear coats. Winter care focuses on frequent, touchless or safe contact washing (when temperatures permit) to flush salt from lower panels, wheel arches, and undercarriages to help maintain material integrity.

Spring Recovery

As the thaw begins, meltwater carries dirt onto the roads, leading to heavy surface buildup. Spring is the ideal time for decontamination—removing embedded winter fallout, iron particles from snowplow blades, and preparing the surface as pollen begins to settle.

Summer Upkeep

Summer brings road trips, increased dust, insect splatter, and intense outdoor UV exposure. If left untreated, acidic bug remains can etch into clear coats. Summer routines prioritize regular maintenance washes and ensuring the paint has an adequate layer of protection against the sun.

Autumn Preparation

Autumn is characterized by rain, fallen wet leaves (which can leave tannic acid stains), and increasing moisture. This season is best utilized to thoroughly clean the vehicle and apply a robust sealant or coating to prepare the exterior surfaces for the impending winter months.
